Last Rose of Summer?

Well, not quiet.  There are still some buds forming on my rose bush.  I should not say bush...it is a tree, reaching to the sky.  It is suppose to be a climbing rose, and after 3 years, it would like to climb something, anything.  I need to try and "direct" some of the canes, but the stems are so stiff and tough that I just let it do what it wants.

Now, this is the last Iris of the year.
