The Rain Came Down and The Flood Came Up

Saturday:  The hurricane, Patricia, is bring much rain to this area  So far, it has been slow enough for the creek to carry it away without any flooding...well, as I write this, it is still dark, so that may all change when I can see outside.  But I thought the title of the children's song fit the weather this morning.

So aside from the worries of flooding, here is Saturday's tile. (Really no worries about flooding, 'cause we are on solid ground)

And the Rains came down and the Floods came up

Well,  no flood on our little creek yet, but there is a possibility if it keeps raining like it is... The windows are open and I can hear the the gentle, steady rain hitting our metal roof.  A very cool breeze is blowing..I almost need a blanket to wrap up in.  Nothing helps the flowers, grass, and animals like a good soaking rain.  It has been a long time since this part of Off the Highway has had a good rain. Thank  you, Lord.
