What a Beautiful Day
Some friends called early this morning with plans for a little get together tonight. Just something easy and simple. I told her I had some rolls in the freezer, so I would make hamburger sliders. But first I needed to make the buttermilk pie that really isn't a buttermilk pie. The last time I made the pie, I did not have any buttermilk, so substituted yogurt...1/2 cup yogurt, 1/2 cup milk, and 1 T vinegar . It makes a creamer pie and is just as good, if not better.
Next, I decided to make a potato salad. So we had hamburger sliders, potato salad, chips and one avocado. We had a great visit and it was a fuss free meal.
