I have found that cactus and succulents on the porch do well.  Maybe they don't have quiet enough sunshine, but you really don't have to worry about them when you leave for a few days.

Definitely need to wait for warmer days.  Right now, it is sitting in the kitchen window hoping for some sunshine.  Would you believe it?  It is cloudy again.  Oh well, it is Texas.

Cactus of a Another Color

Last year this cactus bloomed, but every time it was closing up when I check on it...but this year I caught it.  The color is not as vibrant as the pink, but still a cactus bloom of any color is beautiful.
