Jalapeno Stuffed Tomatoes

Jalapeno poppers...they are good, but sometimes it is a little to much pepper.  Also, I had Roma tomatoes that need to be used.  So, this afternoon the idea was born, for me at least, of stuffing some tomatoes.  I know there are recipes for stuffed tomatoes, and there might be one just like this, but I did not take the time to look.

Jalapeno Stuffed Tomatoes

1/2 jalapeno ..take the seeds out and chop finely --- more if you like it hot, less if you just want a taste
1 clove garlic...put through a press---adjust to your taste
cream cheese right out of the fridge
3 tomatoes...cut in half and take the seeds out.
1/3 cup grated cheese
Salt
Pepper

Cut tomatoes in half and take out the seeds.  Place in a baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper...adjust to  your taste.    Add about 1 teaspoon cream cheese to the inside of the tomato.  Sprinkle with garlic and chopped jalapenos.  Top with grated cheese.

Bake at 350 until cream cheese is heated and grated cheese has melted and the tomatoes are soft.  About 10 minutes or less.  Serve at once.
The cooking part is really all done by sight...plus, I didn't really time them.
