Oil field tank battery

Montana hill before Billings

More tree in the front and big trees in the back.
From early days, farmers have planted trees in North Dakota...mostly call tree rows or shelter belts.  Notice the large trees in the back..mostly the winter wind and snow comes from that direction so they will help slow the wind. It will then come around the sides of the house and settle into the drifts.
