Pincushion flower A bloom on the way out |
This plant has bloomed all winter--in North Dakota, it would die back to the ground, but not in Texas. It is a go getter when it comes to blooms. The down side? Deadheading or taking all the dead blooms off. That keeps it going. Love the color, so I will keep deadheading so it will keep blooming.

Really pretty color! It is a lot of work taking off dead blooms, isn't it?
