THE LOWLY PRICKLY PEAR
How to describe the blooms of a cactus. For such a "sticky" plant, a cactus has one of the most delicate blooms in this part of the country. The blooms come in many shapes and sizes and are all different colors. One little cacti that I have has tiny pale pink blooms. The blooms are about the size of a pencil eraser. It is hard to catch it in bloom...what you see are the red berries that form from the bloom. http://cactiguide.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14649
This site will show the fruit that comes from the tiny bloom
