Clear Skies

Finally!  Some clear Texas skies!  For the longest time, it seems, we have had misty, foggy or rainy days.  No getting outside into the flower garden or working on the front yard.  For the last two days, all I can see is blue skies.

 We have a new arrival in the bird world.  He is a Blue Grosbeak...such a pretty thing.  From a distance, he looks almost black--that is how dark his blue is.  http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Blue_Grosbeak/id 
But if the sun is just right, you can see the deep rich blue of his feathers.
