Our old trees..they are early producers...and from year to year we never know if we will get any peaches. Late frost is usually the problem. This year the crop was nice. I have been making some jam and hubby has been eating bowls of fresh cut up peaches with just a little sugar. If they are fully ripe, they hardly need any sugar. We were down to the last picking...but then came the thunder/hail/high wind/rain. No more peaches. The dear deer have been having a feast. They do do a good job cleaning up...all they leave is the pit.
