Saturday Tid Bits---Colors of the Season

In the spring we were excited to see the first new growth on the trees and the beginning of new grass coming up.  But now we are excited to see the changing leaves..they are changing, beginning to drop their summer coats and stand bare in the path of the northers.  Not so the cedars..they are green all year and have no change of their color...Now, what we call cypress do have a change.  They turn the most beautiful reddish orange  and then they drop their needles rather quickly.  They stand tall and majestic guarding the little streams that give them life during the hot summers.
