After a long day on the Highway, we did not want a big supper, nor did I want to cook. I had been eying the hotdogs...you know the healthy kind...not really if you read the label, but I just didn't want to cook so they were 1st choice. But Hubby suggested egg sandwiches. He likes his with ketchup and honey, and I like mine with fresh tomato, mayo, and cheese. You would think we were in a 5 star restaurant..they were so good and quick. No wait, a 5 star restaurant would make you sit for an hour before they brought you a semi cold plate that cost $$$$$. For dessert, M&M's. What a nutritionally balanced meal.
I have already made the refrigerated oatmeal for tomorrow's breakfast. Ever hear of refrigerated oatmeal? I really, really like it. No cooking, just dump it in a cup and let it sit in the fridge all night. I like mine with a little chunky peanut butter, grape jelly, cinnamon, raisins and milk to cover plus a little. Since we went grocery shopping today, I stocked up on Old Fashioned oats...I found that the quick oats work also, but I think I like the Old Fashioned best. You can add anything that sounds good. Now, before you say yuk, give it a try...just use 1/4 cup though, no need to waste the oats.
I know there are recipes out there, so if you are not adventurous, look one up.
Glad you got home safely! And enjoyed your no cooking meal! The tiles are really pretty! AC
