The first day 2nd try

This is my first blog...I decided to join the crowd and release my mind's wanderings.  We do not have a television, just a computer, so this will be my entertainment.  Anyone else living without a television by choice?
I had to delete my first blog...I deleted my profile, not that it is that interesting, and could not find where to put it back on.  I think I deleted some other stuff too.

So anyway, for today, I have been working on an old dresser that I grew up with.  Do you remember the years of antiquing kits?  This piece had been antiqued.. For the past  year I have been looking at other blogs and admiring their before and after pictures...I just love the afters. I hope to post a picture of my after. 

Anyway, the blue Texas sky is starting to peak through the clouds...the mountains are putting on their spring outfits just in time for Easter.  The new green colors are beautiful. The birds are happy and singing and the hummingbirds, well one that I know of, is zipping in and about.  One came to visit the porch where I have the unplanted  pots of flowers sitting.   I have to fence them in since the dear deer like to munch of just planted flowers.  I do have some that are deer resistant, but that is yet to be seen.
